Wurzeln & Dendriten
Ich ahme Naturverhalten mit zeichnerischen Mitteln motorisch nach, indem ich Wachstumsspuren von Ästen oder Wurzeln mit dem Stift nachvollziehe. Meine Zeichnungen sind Antworten auf Dynamiken in der Natur, wobei meine Spuren denjenigen der Natur ähneln oder sich ihnen mimetisch angleichen. Meine zeichnende Hand lernt dabei. Ich möchte Bilder erzeugen, die die Gesetzmäßigkeiten ihrer eigenen Entstehung offenbaren.
I motorically simulate natural activity by means of drawing. By pencil I trace the growing of branches and roots. My drawings are responses to dynamism in nature, whereby my traces resemble those found in nature or mimetically emulate them. In doing so, my drawing hand is constantly learning. I want to create images that reveal the natural laws of their own formation.
Observo estructuras botánicas, imito y persigo con lápiz los caminos que toman a causa de temperatura, dirección de luz o condiciones circundantes. Cada planta es un resultado de un proceso, un movimiento que solo por su larga duración no concibo. Cada materialidad es proceso, la esencia de toda sustancia es movimiento. Intento crear formas que revelan ellos mismos las fuerzas naturales que les dan sus morfologías.
